Power Lines
SYNOPSIS
Power Lines is a short documentary examining the troubled expansion of Plant Vogtle in Waynesboro. Years behind schedule and billions over budget, the addition of two reactors has left Georgia ratepayers footing the bill while utility companies continue to profit. As residents weigh the promise of jobs against environmental and health risks, the film amplifies the voices of a community caught between economic hardship and corporate power. Through their stories, Power Lines exposes regulatory failures and questions who truly benefits from the lines of power shaping Georgians’ lives.
